Our Guides
Mitchell Boyce
Mitchell grew up in the valley furnace West Virginia on a family beef farm. Hunting and fishing have been a part of his life ever since he could walk. The first time he went steelhead fishing, he hooked into a mid-teens steelhead and it spooled him down the river, he couldn’t believe the sheer power and force the fish had. After that one fish, he knew he was hooked for life and wanted to pursue and chase his dreams on the elusive steelhead. With his sidekick, Baily, the famous German Shorthaired Pointer fishing/bird-dog, he moved to Forks Washington on the Olympic Peninsula to pursue his dream of getting people on a fish of a lifetime. Whether it be salmon or steelhead. We can do either Spey fishing or conventional gear. Join Bailey and Mitchell for your chance at a fish of a lifetime and an adventure you’ll never forget.
Matt Evanger
Matt has been fishing the Olympic Peninsula for 25+ years. He has a reputation for showing his guests a great time on the water. Matt’s whitewater experience allows him to get his raft and drift boat into some waters other guides avoid, chasing and catching trophy steelhead, chinook, and coho. With Matt’s conventional fishing methods you are sure to be put in the right areas for trophy fish.

Guided Salmon & Steelhead Fishing
Anadromous - Migrating up rivers from the sea to spawn. These legendary fish are what every angler dreams of, and will be the fish we will be chasing. The Olympic Peninsula is the winter steelhead mecca, with some of the biggest and freshest fish in the lower 48 States. On the RVR Guided fishing trip, you can expect to experience the thrill and adventure of pursuing these fish, in some of the most pristine and scenic rivers in the world.

For Winter Steelhead, dress very warm and bring a rain jacket, as you may have to endure some harsh winter conditions in hopes of hooking a fish of a lifetime.
Guided River Tour
Want to experience the very scenic Olympic Peninsula Rivers, but don’t want to fish? We offer guided trips down the beautiful rivers that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.
On these trips you can expect to experience gorgeous emerald-green glacier water, surrounded by very scenic rainforests, canyons, and mountains. If you’re lucky enough you may get to see some of the wildlife that inhabits these forests such as Roosevelt elk, blacktail deer, black bear, and bald eagles to name a few. During certain times of the year, you may see steelhead and/or salmon as they swim up their native river to spawn.
